Unlike Wallace, Marcellin kept his eyes open, staring in awe and wonder at the changing world around him. It made him feel like a kid again; actually, no. It made him feel like even younger than he was, like Peter Pan, or even Tinkerbell.
"WOW!" The little not-really frenchboy looked down at Wallace, noticing his eyes were closed, "MONSIEUR, OPEN YOUR EYES!! ~~and see, your eyes are open~~"
He never wanted to grow up, ever.

Wallace didn't want to open his eyes. He was afraid of heights for one and did not want to see any bullshit.

the dragon kept flying the best he could but being allergic to fantasy he sneezed sending out flames and without realizing it dropping the princess.
