Large Underground City

Its basically a large underground cave/cavity with a city built in it... no way to the surface.. or is there?
Picture so ppl can understand it a little more (i will color it l8r..)
..o and my character's name Is Lucar. ( A few refrence pictures if u want to see what he's like a bit... and and save the furryflame for ur pillow, i dun wanna hear it )
So the city has everything a normal city does, accept for a sun/moon (obviously).

Lucar busted open a fire escape door to find himself 5 stories up in an apartment building. He took a broom and tried to keep the door shut as figures from inside that were trying to jump through. In his left hand was a suitcase... can see a little piece of green paper that was sticking out the one side...
After Lucar secured the door, he ran and leaped to a nearby roof. After barely making the jump he scattered to retain his balance then ran for the door leading from the roof, to the building he's standing on. A few gunshots are then heard from inside the building and Lucar came running out the front door with blood dripping from his left arm... He ran and hid behind a parked truck to regain his breath and treat the deep wound in his arm.

Lorentien, sighs to herself. She's walked this block seventeen times already and hasn't found it. When she hears gunshots she starts to tear but holds back a scream. She spot the man running as he hides behind her truck.

Lucar struggled to patch up his arm with a bit of cloth from his backpack...
He looked up. A few people were gazing at him and the small pool of blood dripping beside him. A bystander whispered to one of the other people standing "I think we should call the cops.. this guy looks hurt". "NONO! Dont Call The Cops!!..." Lucar bursts out. People tilt their heads in confusion. "I mean, I can take care of this myself I'm not even in any pain". He tried to get up with the suitcase but his arm was too weak. As he screams in pain he drops the suitcase. A citizen leaned in "Can I help you carry that-" Lucar snarled when the person bent down to pick up the suitcase... "ok i wont then..."
Lucar used his right arm to bring the suitcase closer to him...

Marcus ran out of the neighboring building with his pistol in had and his jacket flared open. "Scatter! He can't be too far." His fellow co-workers spread out in various places in search for the criminal. "I got a clear shot, but I don't know where, search for blood!"

Lucar peeked over the hood of the vehicle he was hiding behind to look at the people running around looking for him.
"I found some blood over here"..
Lucar panicked when he heard this.
He looked around for the crowd of people.. they were gone. They didnt like the sight of guns...
"Ok this is good actually"
Thinking fast, Lucar smashed the window of the car with the suitcase and let himself in.
He quickly sets the suitcase in the passenger seat and begins to hot-wire the car...
