Jasper raised an eyebrow, "Look, man, I have no idea what you're talking about. I wish there were girls here, but there aren't."
There was something off about the guy on the front step, but Jasper couldn't put his finger on it. For one, his teeth were pointy--that had to mean something.

[Catprio]

'Hey, I thaw you bring them in. With your two brotherth.' He frowned, he absolutely hated being lied to. Especially by these guys, who did they think they were? Kidnapping girls (who were also monsters, admittedly, but so was Caprio), and then lying? Was there anything that was past them? Gosh.
'Jutht let the girlth go, okay?'

Lynn cried so much she just stopped, "I'm sorry." She sniffled, "I'm really scared."

[Catin Raele]

Ray nodded, "It's alright just try to be quiet. Someone's at the door and it sounds like they're talking about us. But I can't be sure unless you calm down so I can hear."

Jasper narrowed his eyes, studying the stranger's face. He reached forward and snatched Caprio's hat away. He grinned. "Well aren't you funny looking."

[Catprio]

'--!' he needed that hat! Quickly scrabbling to answer to Jasper's (rude) accusation of him looking weird, Caprio blinked his milky eyes. 'Uhm, it ith a... birth defect! Yeah a birth defect. I am very embarathed by how I look becauthe of it, may i pleathe have my hat back?'
That was so brilliant. He couldn't even be more proud of himself.

"I'm sorry." Lynn teared up again, "Lynn tried her best to calm herself down, not want to upset... The werewolf."

[Catin Raele]

Ray sighed, "You can just call me Ray. And you're Lynn? Well even under crappy circumstances it's nice to finally talk and not just listen to you cry." She went back to trying to listen to the conversation, "Dammit these walls are so thick it's even hard for me to make anything out."

[Chocolate Kittens]

"A birth defect. Right. Lemme guess, you're a goblin? A lizard man from the sewers?" Jasper laughed, keeping Caprio's hat out of reach.
"He's a demon," Barron growled, coming up behind his brother. He grabbed Caprio by the front of his shirt and yanked him inside. Jasper quickly closed the door behind him.

[Catprio]

Caprio only had a few seconds to be disappointed that his brilliant plan didn't work, and to try to sputter an answer to Jasper before being pulled inside by a second man. He cried out, blindly flailing his hands against the bigger man.
'Hey- wait!' He was a demon, yeah, but this treatment was not cool with him at all! 'Let go!'

"My, my, my." Gisele stepped from her car and saw the men pulling on the demon. "This isn't a good start." She clicked her pen and scribbled notes on the first problem down on her clipboard. She smiled and moved closer.

Lynn smiled weakly at Ray, "Yes I'm Lynn... Is it just me or do you smell cookies too?"

[Catin Raele]

Ray sniffed the air, "Yeah, yeah I do smell cookies. What the he'll?"

Iris crouched down behind a small black car parked across the street. She watched the demon get pulled inside and the odd woman with the clip board. She scratched the side of her head where the ear piece was and wondered when Doctor Stevens would radio her and give her her next orders. So she sat and waited patiently.

Barron threw Caprio up against a wall and pulled out a blessed dagger. Jasper checked to make sure that the curtains were still closed tight. He turned and watched his brother deal with the new foe. Barron stuck the knife in Caprio's face. "What are you after, demon? 'Cause you've come to the wrong place to get a soul."

Alistair watched from the end of the hallway. He decided it would be a good idea to make sure the two in the basement hadn't escaped. He grabbed his crowbar and went downstairs.

[Catprio]

'Woah!' Caprio winced at being pushed up against the wall. Things didn't get much better when Barron took out the knife. Something worried him about it, 'I-Ith that blethed?'
His fear of blessed items was momentarily distracted by something else Barron said, 'Wait. What? I can get thoulth? Really?'

Gisele watched the demon writing down something about demons on the door steps. She looked in through the door and saw a boy, her mouth watered.

[Catin Raele]

Ray heard the commotion upstairs, "Something tells me this visitor was not a welcomed one."

Iris shifted her weight in her crouch and noticed something had caught the woman's attention. She murmured under her breath, "Doctor, what do I do?" The ear piece crackled and then a voice came through, "Stay put kitten. Don't make any moves until we can assess the
situation properly. I don't want things going sour and my
oppurtunity of examining these interesting specimens to
go to waste."

"Yes sir."

[Chocolate Kittens]

Barron scowled, ignoring Caprio's questions. He growled, "What are you after?" He let the blade of his knife rest against Caprio's cheek, smiling at the way it burned the demon's skin.

Alistair ducked in through the basement's doorway. He looked between Lynn and Ray, "Oh good, you guys haven't escaped." He gave a nervous chuckle.

[Catprio]

'I- !!!' So that answered his question as to whether the blade was blessed or not. Though this wasn't the most opportune way to learn the answer.
A soft hiss escaped him before he answered Barron's question, 'I already told your brother! I am worried about the two girlth you guyth kidnapped.' Gosh.

"Helloo." Gisele walked up to the door, "Social services."

"Do you think they get wanted guests?" Lynn sniffled.

[Catin Raele]

"Heh," Ray couldn't help but laugh a little, "Thats a good point."

Iris murmured, "The woman has approached the house Doctor. She claims she's from social services."

"Highly unlikely, but interesting. Keep a close eye on her."

[Chocolate Kittens]

Barron frowned, "How the hell do you know about that?" When they heard a noise from outside, he looked to Jasper. "Take care of that," he said, gesturing toward the door. "And you," he said to Caprio, "Come with me." He dragged the demon into the other room and up the stairs.

[Catprio]

'I- uh,' he stuttered, being pulled up some stairs by the biggest of the three men. 'I er, have thort of been watching you guyth for the patht day.'
In hindsight he realized that he really should have thought this whole confronting the monster hunters thing through a bit more.

Suddenly Gisele left. And Lynn cried.

[Catin Raele]

Ray sighed humming to try and drown out the vampires cries.

"The woman's left," Iris said.

"Hmm maybe the prey didn't look appetizing enough," The professor said through the earpiece.

"It sounds like there's a commotion at the door though."

"See if you can get closer, I bet those monster hunters are really enjoying that demon's company."

"I don't think so sir."

"Its sarcasm kitten just check it out okay?"

"Oh, yes sir."

Barron's eyes went wide with rage. He said through grit teeth, "You've been watching us?"

"Huh." Jasper mumbled, "Nobody's there." He went off to find Barron and the demon. "You better not kill him without me!"
