Rain sighed and slid open the door, if the man could do a better job at helping Theo's wing than they could then why not. "Just help us with his wing, if you do something he doesn't want you to I'm throwing you out." She said sternly as he walked past her.

Fae reached out to her as she closed the door, "Rain, are you-"

She smiled up to him, "Could you make us some tea?"

"Yes, dear," he grumbled and retreated to the kitchen.

Theo ignored what the man said. He didn't want anyone to touch his wings, or sketch him, or even ask him a question, other than 'Oh you poor boy do you want me to fly you home?'. Theo continued to flap and stretch his wing. "What does it llook like? Does it hurt?"

The Professor tipped his hat to the lady, "Thank you very much, miss. Oh tea would be lovely." He made his way over to the winged boy and knelt beside him, putting down his bags. "My plaster? I don't think it hurts, at least it doesn't hurt on skin. It's just a white paste, and it hardens quite quickly so as to keep your bone in place while it heals. See, very simple."

"Will it stick to my feathers?" Theo was still curious about this plaster stuff, "How will I get it off? When will I get it off? Do I have to have it put on again?" He had tons more questions but his mom had told him that asking so many questions was rude.

The Professor grinned, eager to explain his creation. "Well, no, it won't get on your feathers at all actually--See, I need to peel back the skin and muscles and attach it directly to the bone. And, the brilliant thing about it is that you don't need to reapply it and you don't need to take it off afterwards because it's full of nutrients. Your body will absorb it over time and the bone will get stronger!" He beamed, awaiting a reaction over his genius.

"I-I don't think that's what we had in mind when you said plaster," Rain stepped in front of Teho, blocking out the professor. "That sounds painful."

Theo realised at that point asking questions was a good idea with this professor, "P-please don't peel my skin." Theo cowered behind Rain begining to cry once more.

"Numming agents?" Theo looked at the man, "What do they do? How do you make them work? Do they hurt?" Theo pushed himself upwards. He stared intently at the Professor sunlight from the window was dancing across him and Rain. In a split second it disappeared, Theo's last comfort. He leaped forward off the couch bumping into the two of them, "Where did it go?!" Theo cried turning to the window and scaning for the sun.

"What? No, the agents will stop it from hurting, miss. Huh? A-and I've tried it on rats and things. They didn't seem bothered at all." At Theo's outburst, he looked over toward the window. "The sun...? It's still there, my boy, it's merely blocked by a cloud. Do you Nasigh not have a sun?"

Rain whispered a short 'don't stare at the sun' to Theo before looking back up to the Professor. "Could you please leave? I've never heard of a plaster such as yours and I'm not sure I'd like to trust it." He made to move to leave, but as soon as Rain raised a hand to him Fae reentered the room with a tray carrying four cups of tea.

"Tea's done," he mumbled.

Theo turned and smiled. Having tea would fix everything up, tea always did, "Can I have some?"

"Well of course you've never heard of it--I only recently made it for goodness sakes!" The Proffessor protested, throwing up his hands. He wondered why everyone was so fussy about testing his inventions. Still, grumbling he stood to leave. When the tea arrived, he stopped. He looked cautiously towards Rain, "May I at least stay for tea?" He patted his stomach. "I haven't had much of anything today."

Rain sighed and took the tray from Fae and set it on the table. She took a cup in each hand and handed them to Theo and the Professor, "It's blueberry." Fae took one of the remaining cups and sat down in Rain's chair. She glared at his for a second before taking up her cup and sitting on the arm of the chair.

Theo shuddered a bit from the pain in his wings. He sat back down into his chair. He looked down at the tea then up at Rain, "Where am I?"

"Quentin Forest, I believe," said the Professor, sipping his tea. "Mm! Lovely texture." He prided himself in being able to differentiate tea by the texture of the water.

"N-no Theo," Rain jumped from the arm of the chair, almost dropping her tea cup again in th process, "we're not going to hurt you."

Theo turned around and cotinued to run to the door. His wings hurt terribly but all of this was too much for him. The strange man, the elves he didn't want any of it, he wanted to go home.

As Theo burst out the front door, Lila jumped from where she had been sitting. She watched the winged boy with amazement, before she heard her master call, "Wait! Please come back, my boy!"
Lila got to her feet and ran out to the meet the winged boy to head him off, wrapping her arms around him in a half-tackle.

Rain placed her cup back down on the tray and ran out the door after Theo. She gasped at the sight of a woman tackling Theo to the ground. A crack sounded, the spoon breaking.

Fae sighed and left his cup on the tray with Rain's before standing up next to the professor in the doorway.
