"The point is I'm not being your dragon slave! And I need that knife." He grabbed the knife and tried to pry it from her fingers.

Aurora gasped in surprise as the man jumped for his knife. "I never said anything about slaves!" His fingers pulled at hers as he tried to get his knife back. Without warning her hand glowed a deep black and a single word of her native Sylvan language, Lynn, spilled from her lips. His hand seemed to burn where it touched the darkness surrounding hers and he jumped back.

"What the hell did you do!?" He yelled jumping back holding tightly onto his hand.

"I'm so sorry!" Aurora covered her face with her hands, almost forgetting about the knife. "I didn't mean to." Magic hadn't come to her in any form since she'd lost her wand in the ocean after running away from home. She must have used the spell on instinct, to protect herself.

"Damn right you should be sorry, do I get me knife back now?" He kept grasping onto his hand, "I was gonna ask you, 'Is this how you treat a slave' but then I realized it probably is."

"It wasn't my fault, and the slave thing was just a joke. I'm not that cruel!" Aurora yelled in frustration. Uneza rolled her eyes and left the room for the kitchen. She couldn't care less about their predicament as long as Aurora went to get their food eventually.

Aurora sighed and lowered her hands, this wasn't going the way she'd wanted it to. She glanced at Uneza through the doorway to the kitchen. Uneza stared back at her and raised an eyebrow. "I'll give you your knife back," he reached for the knife but she pulled it away again, "if you make it up to me."

"So knife or freedom?" He hummed, "Ya... I'll just leave without it... I mean I'm a fucken dragon." He turned to the door he still was feeling horribly hungover and faced in the sun he moaned in pain.

"Wait," Aurora reached out to him. "You'll get a home out of this and," she looked over his clothing, dirty and ragged, " a bath.

Uneza choked on the breath she'd taken. Aurora was offering up the space in her house? 'Why is she so bent on making this dragon stay? He must be centuries younger than her...'

"Oh..." Geoff sighed, "Well then, I guess this is good-bye then..." He turned back to the door, "Thanks for the night again."

"That's it! Be her assistant or something, assist her in finishing these chores, just go get me my food already!" Uneza left the kitchen and ushered them through the door, not caring that they fell onto the dirt road as she shut the door.

Geoff fell down onto the ground into the dirt he was far to used to the feeling. It was only so bad because the hangover. He moaned a bit before even considering to get onto his feet.

"Well that was pleasant," Aurora groaned and rolled up onto her knees. She dusted off her blouse and pants before looking back down to the man, he didn't seem to want to get up.
