Norina sat at the edge of her seat in anticapation to meet the nasigh.

Theo groaned, his wings were hurting. Then he remembered the elves. Without the adrenaline though he wasn't able to move against his pain, "I hate you elves..."

Rain looked down sadly and shied away from the others to stand in the doorway as Theo began to wake.

"Oh elves aren't that bad," The Professor said, laughing. He pried one of Theo's eyes open and examined it quickly. He wished he had his notebook to take things down in.

Norina scowled, "The nerve of you, Fae and Rain have done nothing but fix your wing!"

The Professor gave Theo's head a fond pat. "Oh, I know it seems bad, but once the agents wear off, you'll feel much better." He turned quickly to Norina, "And you over there, listen to your, um, aunt."

Norina leaned back in her chair to pout. She was only trying to stick up for them, that damn ungrateful nasigh.

Theo cried once again just wanting to go home, "Please stop touching me Mr. Professor."

"Well, the sedatives are wearing off, so the numbing affects must be too," The Professor clarified. He rummaged through one of his smaller medicine bags. "Aw poor lad. Hmm. I might have some pain-killers in here somewhere. Oh here we are! ... Wait, no. That's deadly nightshade. Um... Hmmm." He continued to sift through his things.

Theo shrunk back when the professor said something about deadly. "Excuse me, I know you don't know much about nasigh, but do you think this broken wing might make me be easier to fall."

Norina rolled her eyes, "It's not like it's gone or anything. Cut them off, then we'd see you fall in seconds I bet."

"Don't worry, Theo, we'll get you home before anything happens," Rain said with a hopeful smile. "Let him be, Norina," she added off to the side.

The Professor continued to look for painkillers. "She's right. We'll have you home in no time. And besides, I fixed your wing right up." He gave Theo a bright smile before going back to his search. "Ah here we are." He pulled out one of his dented tins. He held it out to Rain. "Here mix these leaves in with his tea, would you? Thank you love. It'll keep you numb for a few hours, Theo."

Theo cried, "I already told you, I can't fly!" He hated having to repeat that, it was worse than all the pain. "I have a wrong wing, a chicken wing, even if my wing heals up the other doesn't work!"

Norina felt a little sorry for the ground bound nasigh, "But I bet your parents are already on their way to get you."

Rain nodded to the professor and turned back into the kitchen. She took another cup down from the cupboard and prepared the tea, mixing in the leaves as she went. Once it was finished she returned to the den and smiled to Theo as she put it near him on the table before shrinking away, back to the doorway.

"Thank you, love," The professor said, smiling to Rain. He nodded along with Norina's words. "Mhm, your parents will be here in no time--they must be worried sick over you."

"My mom can't just up and lean her work like that though, and who knows when dad will even hear I'm gone." Theo hoped his mom would actually lock up her store and leave. She would just wait for dad to come home and send him, he was always out anyways.

"My mom runs a jewelry shop back on Ester Lauren and I don't see my dad much. He comes home sometimes, but never for long." Theo got a brilliant day dream that his dad was actually on his way to save him. His eyes lit up, but he knew it wouldn't happen.
